This page explains the cookies and local browser storage the EcoBIM website uses, and the choices you have.
1. Necessary
Always on. A single local-storage entry on your device records the choice you make in the cookie banner (and nothing else), so we don’t ask again on your next visit. Nothing in this category is sent to a server or shared with anyone.
2. Analytics & marketing
Off by default. The Site’s consent banner lets you opt in to analytics and marketing categories, and the Site is wired to honour that choice (via Google’s Consent Mode signals) if and when we add analytics or advertising tags. At present no analytics or marketing scripts are active on the Site — if that changes, this page will be updated first.
3. Managing your choice
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to change your preference, or clear this site’s data in your browser to reset it entirely.
4. Portal storage
The client/team project portal (a separate part of the Site) stores working data such as tasks and approvals locally in your browser so it functions without a backend login session. This is not a tracking cookie and isn’t shared with other sites.
